I was on the phone with my bff and randomly started crying like someone I loved died (you will see why I said that) and my bff immediately drove to my house and found me curled on my bed crying my eyes out. She asked me what was wrong but I just kept crying. She then tried to calm me down but, couldn’t do it. So she let me get it all out. After I got all the tears out and finally calmed down, I got a text…my grandma died at the exact time I started crying (she died from cancer).

The next 3 weeks I was at a sleepover with my 5 bffs and randomly started crying my eyes out again. They let me get it all out and then I got a text again…my grandpa died.

I went to the doctor and asked how I cried at the exact time someone died but, my doctor had no clue.

5 weeks later I was in school during a test and I randomly started crying, the person sitting next to me told the teacher and the teacher said I could go to the bathroom and take a moment for myself. I got a text and then was shocked…when I cried it wasn’t just because people I loved or were in my family died…it was people I knew! Anyways I got a text and my ex bf’s dad died. I didn’t want to see him but, I had to help him feel better! So I went to his house and he was happy to see me in these difficult times.


My doctor finally got a answer to my question (Why do I cry at the exact time people die, when I don’t even know about it?) My doctor said this “You are special, I can’t really explain it but, you have an extra part of your brain and if someone you know dies your memory of them hurts your heart then, you cry from the heart pain.” I was shocked.



To this day I still cry when people I know die.

I've been victim to chronic stomach issues lately, and my days have been crying, having the flu, and throwing up a bunch. Just seeing people taking time out of their day to make things like this is amazing..

thank you so much with this. this made me feel better. just like 2 mins ago i lost my cat because we moved. i loved him so much he was my only memory that cleared all my sadness out. my parents said he might be walking to the old house so we will come at sunset. i really hope we find him but if we dont..

edit: we found him!!!! im so glad yesterday at school i almost cried like 5 times bc of him :( (turns out he was under a carpet roll in our alfresco, we r so dumb we didnt even check the whole house before going to check in the whole neighbourhood:/
