I did a bit of digging after the show, he said that it would be "an explosive issue" or something- but the way he emphasized "explosive" made me think it was a hint- and so it was.
Turns out portobello mushrooms contain a decently large amount of agaritine, which can be made in to hydrazine, which can in turn be used for explosives or rocket fuel. Agaritine is also fairly cancerous/mutagenic to humans.
That's my best bet as to why he wouldn't talk about it, though the threat to his life I would think is more for comic effect.

Edit: the threats on my life and intimidation is extreme, be careful what you dig into, 🤫.

For those who didn’t know; button, cremini and portobello mushrooms are all the same mushroom in different stages of life. Buttons are young and white, creminis are brown and in the adolescent age and finally portobello mushrooms are larger and are fully matured

The metals

Positive effects of Portobello mushrooms:
1. Nutrient-rich: Portobello mushrooms are a good source of essential nutrients like vitamins B, D, and minerals such as potassium and selenium. These nutrients contribute to overall health and well-being.
2. Antioxidant properties: Portobello mushrooms contain antioxidants that help protect cells from damage caused by harmful free radicals. Antioxidants are beneficial for maintaining a healthy immune system.
3. Low in calories: Portobello mushrooms are relatively low in calories, making them a great choice for those who are watching their weight or looking for a lighter meal option.
4. Versatile ingredient: Portobello mushrooms have a meaty texture and can be used as a vegetarian or vegan substitute for meat in various dishes. They can be grilled, stuffed, sautéed, or used in salads, soups, and stir-fries.

Negative effects of Portobello mushrooms:
1. Allergic reactions: Some individuals may be allergic to mushrooms, including Portobello mushrooms. Allergic reactions can range from mild symptoms like itching and rashes to more severe reactions such as difficulty breathing. It is important to be aware of any allergies before consuming them.
2. Digestive issues: Like other mushrooms, Portobello mushrooms contain a type of carbohydrate called chitin. Some individuals may have difficulty digesting chitin, leading to digestive issues such as bloating, gas, or stomach discomfort.
3. Heavy metal absorption: Mushrooms, including Portobellos, have the ability to absorb heavy metals from the environment they grow in. If grown in contaminated soil or exposed to pollutants, they may contain higher levels of heavy metals, which can be harmful if consumed in large quantities.
4. Spoilage and contamination: Portobello mushrooms can spoil quickly if not stored properly. Mold growth or bacterial contamination can occur, leading to foodborne illnesses if consumed. It is important to store and handle them safely to minimize the risk of contamination.

As with any food, it is recommended to consume Portobello mushrooms in moderation and ensure they are properly cooked and stored to maximize their positive effects and minimize any potential negative effects.

I could be wrong but this makes me believe that they can get some sort of cure for something out of portobello mushrooms and that would be a big problem for the pharmaceutical companies because it's cheap and grows everywhere

Listen I am retired holistic doctor I practiced 28 years and saw over 8, 000 clients I have a doctorate degree and a PhD and alternative medicine and I'm also a board certified by the American Alternative medical association. I was visited by those people and was warned that if I pissed off the pill people I would not be around much longer. Two of my personal friends were murdered when was the medical doctor working on a cancer treatment and the other one was just a vitamin rep but exposing vaccines. He's telling the truth. Because of this I retired from my practice. We have to do our own research and find the truth

"This is a explosive area of conversation" Portabella mushrooms contain hydrazines (think explosives) and are not heat stable. They also contain agatine a known carcinogen.

Heavy Metal Contamination: Portobello mushrooms have been found to accumulate heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, and cadmium from the soil they are grown in. Consuming mushrooms contaminated with these metals over time can lead to toxicity and negative health effects. also eating large amounts of them may lead to an overdose of certain compounds such as selenium. This can cause symptoms such as hair loss, nausea, and vomiting.

Back in the days of Vikings (white indigenous people to the European forests) they used to gather some sort of mushrooms, mixed it with their urine and put it in a sort of a container and buried it underground for a year. Then they came back to dig it up and it was some sort of green/black gooye paste, that they used it to start their fires, make weapons etc. etc.
Hallo Portebello

There’s a legitimate truffle mafia in France, Switzerland, and Italy. I feel like this might be related.
