The cats are still trying to forage for food in the freezing air. Even with cat food, they favor pure meat. But the pieces of meat have long since frozen through, and half a dozen licks won't help. This cat impressed the woman, it is a stray cat born, so far retained the instinct of survival in the wild, it is difficult to pick out a piece of meat from the ice, but because it is too hard to bite, can only lick a few bites of soup ice for solace.

Seeing their difficulties in searching for food, the woman decided to build a “non-freezing heated restaurant” for them. The size of the restaurant is 5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, enough to accommodate dozens of cats at the same time. The woman first built a frame, using columns to support the top to prevent it from collapsing, and adding small logs at the bottom to make it easier to clean. Subsequently, a heating device was installed for the food trough, and the heating wire was wrapped around the bottom and covered with bamboo to avoid electrocution by cats accidentally biting it.

The roof was made of wood and rainproof cloth to prevent snow from drifting into the restaurant. After a busy night, the restaurant was finally completed, and the woman named it “Union Restaurant” and hung a red rope to symbolize “business”. Once the heating cord was energized, the food was always warm and never froze. Soon, cats are flocking to the restaurant and familiarizing themselves with their new surroundings.
