Purely musical genius. She knows Everything, every slice of what is offered in jazz, and that great mix of rhythmic diversitality. Especially with the waltz chord hitting in the background during the beginning. What an amazing combination. I always want this playing in the background of my mornings on walks and all that, I'll probably fucking smile more often and not look so perfectly done with life. I think the most important part is that she captures every style, so you'll have a hard time to hearing what you want in her piece + other things you enjoy during it.

While watching this, I had images of the piano battle between Donald Duck and Daffy Duck from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit ?" popping in my head... I was almost waiting for the piano to collapse at the end ! That's how spectacular she is !

She understands everything. There are no secrets for her in music. It must be wonderful to be able to use that knowledge and express yourself in such a way without any effort. What a wonderful life. The rest of us wander and waste our time in this life and will never reach perfection in anything. All we can hope for is mediocrity. I don't envy people for anything, especially not their material wealth, but I envy people for their talent.

Saw her play in the Bridgewater Hall Manchester last night.... the word genius doesn't match her mind. We need a new word for beyond genius. She is without doubt, the world number one jazz, and all round pianist. And what a lovely person.
