Danzig is such a big personality people forget the massive influence as well. Undeniably one of metal's most important people, yet so man shit on his legacy.

Obviously, Glenn wrote all those songs, and many many more awesome songs in Samhain and Danzig.

There was an eight year long lawsuit involving Only, Doyle, Franche, Jim and others and the settlement was Franche would turn over the Static Age tapes and all would agree on songwriting and publishing in exchange for royalties w/ non disclosure agreements

one of the reasons that I think he wrote them.... was that Danzig took some of The Misfits songs to Samhain and did Samhain renditions of horror business and all hell breaks loose .... maybe how they were meant to sound, either originally or meant to sound for Samhain which they're undeniably Samhain renditions.

So it's like the songs became his Children and he didn't want to give up on them because they're his creation. The songs are his love child, and since they didn't have a lot of play as Misfits songs he was going to try and push these through Samhain.... That All Hell by Samhain is something to behold. But.... the Evilive version of All Hell Breaks loose gets me going. And then it's like it's perfected on Walk Among Us.

One thing about the Misfits is that I don't think they knew what their strong points were... like it was a

I turned into a Martian could be based on a 60s / 70s Marvel Comic series where monsters Dwell where the alien forgets that he's an alien spy in human form and he turns into a martian .... So while the songs could be based on other songs/stories they're undeniably original.
