Just came across this vid and this was a very in depth review. I purchased the Launchpad Mini and I've only had it for about a week. I love it! It has a lot of awesome features in a small package...lol I also have Launchpad95 and it is pretty nice. There's a few other scripts. But upon doing research, I'm not going to spend money on something that doesn't give me a "Wow! I have to get that!" factor. Launchpad95 is so useful and it's free. It crushes some of the other scripts in my opinion based on my needs.

The buttons on the Mini are going to take some getting use to as my Maschine pads have spoiled me lol There's some type of weird shifting around of the buttons when you press them instead of them going completely in the board on the Mini. As far as the knobs maximum values on the Launchpad Control, I believe a quick fix may be to midi map them in one of the user modes and adjust the maximum value to 0 DB or whatever your preference in the side window of Ableton. I've midi mapped a lot of effects on my Launchpad Mini and made adjustments to the minimum and maximum values as I see fit on whatever I map it too. It's in beast mode right now...lol

I recently bought the Akai MPK mini with Ableton and i'm looking for a clip launcher that goes with. I was looking at the APC mini and the Launchpad mini with Launch control. After some research i think i'm going with the launchpad mini with launch control, because it's a more user friendly than the Akai where you lose time and speed because of the shift that price. Really hard choice.

I'm pretty sure you can control the minimum and max of midi controllers in ableton. Am I not right in saying this?
