the first time i heard Cibo Matto, thanks to Viva Variety, i fell in love with the sound. i saw them in Portland a few years ago, and got my vinyl copy of Stereo Type A signed by Miho and Yuka. they'll always have my support.

First time I heard Birthday Cake I was blown away (yes from JSRF), I doubt most anyone else could pull off the presentation of it, and then release it. But I was hooked after that. I love their new album, just got the Japanese edition.

It's funny, their comments on the East Village. I don't think it even exists anymore really?

"People really want to describe you in one sentence, and that's difficult with us." 5:10

That, right there, is exactly why I love Cibo Matto.

I first heard them when they performed on Buffy's 2nd season and I've been a fan ever since. They are awesome.

Dope interview. I'm starting to gain interest in the band. I saw Miho Hatori on a Sampling documentary a few hours ago. Forgive me for playing catchup 🏃🏿🙏🏿

Such a shame Yuka never had a child. Such a beautiful person and soul. She'd have been a fantastic mother
