In this video, I am going to show you how to buy ETF's (Exchange Traded Funds) on Interactive Brokers. I found Interactive Brokers to be the best platform to buy ETF's.

Kai so what would be difference between VUSA and SPY5? Just the fact that one you are buying in EUR and the other one in USD?

Hey Kai! I recently changed my pricing plan to tiered, but IBKR still charges me a commission of €3.75 on every VUSA (AEB) purchase. Do you know why? I am a resident in Portugal. Is it worth continuing to buy ETFs through IBKR or is it better to use another broker such as Trading 212, Lightyear or Trade Republic? Thank you

1.I am based in Switzerland, what is better to buy VUSA with CHF currency or EURO, and are they exactly the same ?
2. Do I deposit my money in IB (using Revolut) in EURO CHF or USD ? I watch your other video where you explained how to deposit money using Revolut and u did it in USD, I did it the same following your steps, but is it not possible to deposit CHF in IB ?

Thank you for referring me to Interactive Brokers and for the great info you provide through your videos.
I have a question about being able to trade ETFs with IBKR.

Right now I'm permitted to trade Stocks and Currency/ Forex
I assume I need extra permission to trade ETFs. (the Stock, Index, and Forex CFDs option)
I noticed it doesn't let you get the permission due to low financial statements (lower than 100k liquid a year) or experience (lower than 2 years of experience).

Do you know about that limitation? It seems IBKR is not suitable for starting ETFs traders as the ceiling of getting a permit is so high or do I get something wrong?

Hello, Can you please help me with this doubt?
When I try to Buy VOO, the app don't show the buy/sell button, only a button saying "Trade Notice", on. click it shows, " This product requires a KID in English or in a language approved for your country, Retail clientes can trade packaged retail products only if an appropriate KID is available."
How can I solve this?
