If bro decide to build this recently they have no upgrade path really, since Intel are meant to be replacing their CPU socket with the 15th generation CPUs that are coming out. Should have gone with and AMD with a AM5 socket

personally i feel there’s no such thing as “overkill” with pcs cause they’re so versatile you could use it for emails till the end of its life or eventually get into some pretty high end gaming with it always for speccing higher then lower

Thats what I did. And in the last 3 years, learned video editing, 3d modeling, unreal engine and a few other things. If you can afford it, do it!

Yeah I purchased an expensive cpu and ram, ssd etc, for such tasks and a basic gpu.

5 years later it still works like a charm and i just downloaded Arkham Games to play on it😅

I also claimed input of the GST and depreciation on the remaining amount. 😂
