5 Full-Sun Perennials That Thrive in a Garden With Lots of Light โ˜€๏ธโœจ๐Ÿ’› Some plants die when they are in direct sunlight, but many flowering perennials do well when they get sun all day. Full sun means that a spot for planting gets at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight most days. Some perennials that grow in full sun may need a little shade during the hottest part of the day. And different perennials need different amounts of water. Some can grow in dry soil, while others need wet soil. For some plants, making sure their soil has enough water is just as important as giving them enough sunlight. Here are 5 perennial plants that do well in full sun.

Just a note my Dhalias burn if I donโ€™t shade them, I would not consider them a full sun plant.

Every garden book I've read says columbines do best in part shade. I have grown peonies in full sun, and they did not like it, so I have to disagree with 2 of your chices.

Dhalias not perennials. You have to dig them out.
