Finally, a support like mech that doesn't die!
Another game that I play makes the support roll be good by itself, but even better with allies. This mech is exactly that, and I would love to see more aura/ally based mechs.

His damage sponge potential is incredible but we stlill need an healer. Tanks like bastion can win most 1v1 scenarios but without any way of healing it slowly loose his "tankyness"

A tad off topic, but the new event just dropped and showed the stats for the Repeater 12 and Repeater 10. It sounds like an even more sustainy shotgun compared to Embers. When it drops on the test server, could you try out Repeater + Ember Gun with Ember Range, Ember Dmg, Repeater Range, and Repeater Dmg, perhaps on Eclipse? Using the Ember Gun as an Overheat applicator, I'm sure it'll be quite dangerous, despite being an asymmetrical build.

Vortex is gotta be the most interesting tank mech, ngl. He's ability is like Brickhouse and Paragon combined which is really cool, Paragon was the first thing came to my mind when I saw Vortex's ability 😂 so yeah they just made paragon 2.0. Aside from guideds and sniper weapons, I think Vortex will perform well with miniguns, graviton beams, arcs, and missile/storm racks. I agree that Vortex would've been a great tank to be on the front lines but that's gonna hard for this mech, Bastion is still the tankiest mech right now. Great video man would love to see more of Vortex in your coming streams🔥.

I like how he looks, considering I'm not a fan of Hemlock and Nomad's design. He's kind of like the tank I want. A sort of ball-mode tank like Skyros in War Robots or a Droideka. I think his boosts are overtuned and I'd prefer infinite sprint, 33% DR, and immunity to side/back hits with 3 more kph on his base. The AoE DR is a tad much and the AoE DPS is a throwaway. Luckily, he's not uncounterable. Dude is gonna get Surged HARD, like every other mech.

We need a UI element on damage numbers when DR is in effect on the target. Something like "Resist!" similar to "High DMG!".

Can’t wait to use this with nades! Since his weapon mounts are high, he can arc nades really well so he can contribute well while his ability is on cooldown, and abuse the fact that Nade launcher is basically storm rack when you play aggressively. I think it’ll be a very good platform for my favorite weapon in the game.

Giving him supportive ability makes no sense at all and also a tank with highest speed in think they could give him an extra layer of damage resistance or self healing instead of speed and supporting stuff

Nomad is still better bcuz of the speed and is able to rush the players in their spawn place with chain dash

Tbh ruffles, I recommend Rails to maximize this mech. It is a generalist, and limiting yourself to close range or dog fights will only make your time using the mech lesser because you will die quicker lol. I can get about as much dmg in as a dl12 set w just rg12 plus maintain my hp because im farther away. Requires that RG skills tho. I think the rush in Strat w this is limiting
