I just wanna say that this recipe saved me from a boring evening. I tried it and the dessert really turned out awesome. My only disappointment (in my self not the recipe given) is that I used cereal that was too hard and it was extremely difficult to cut the cheesecake. Other than that it was really stunning to look at and pleasing to taste! Would absolutely make it again. 💕

idk if u read the comments, Alix, but if u do there is an old saying, "where there's a will. there's a way." i think this can be done with a baked cheesecake center and how I would do it is i would use the same pan it's going to be assembled in and just bake the cheesecake part without the crust first and carve off a bit of the top (the same size as the rice crispies will take up). after the cheesecake is baked, removed from the pan and trimmed, put the rice crispie crust in the pan and then some whipped cream or some semi-solid on top of the crust, then the trimmed cheesecake. I'd put whip cream in there to kind of fill any gaps between the cheesecake and the crust and make it more presentable - and what to do with what you trimmed away? put it in a bowl, cover it in chocolate sauce and taste test it. yeah, that's it, taste test lol. either that or i'd find something to put in the pan to fill the space where the rice crispies crust would go and then put in the cheesecake batter and bake it. i think the trimming would be easier though, plus you get to do that taste testing thing :) i would love to see you experiment with this because there is a to-die-for no bake strawberry cheesecake on tasty's channel in a compilation and i just don't like no bake cheesecake and i'd like to see you perfect that one using a baked cheesecake too.
