I’m a black man with very kink curls. Mine are the tightest curl on the spectrum. My routine is similar and requires lengthy prep work pre shave to minimize ingrown hairs. I utilize face cleanser, exfoliant, a face steamer, shaving cream, and a face moisturizer that can be applied as many times as needed throughout the day. It took me years to figure out this crap but thank god I did. If I have a son I’ll be be able to teach his ungrateful ass all this shit.
