This happened to me yesteday. Suddenly a huge crowd of people popped up right in front of me. But I totally messed up...
I hit the prone button so I could lie down, I have ALT as my prone button. But it's close to the Windows button, so I accidentally hit that instead and ended up exit to desktop...Me and my ape hands!! I'm so mad!!

Something similar happened to me in Day of Defeat. I mowed down a bunch of allied soldiers in a corner, then one allied soldier was moving to the corner in prone and he used the bodies of his dead comrades to kill me. I’d love to see the perspective of that guy
