Google Nest Mini Can't Connect to Wi-Fi - Solution

A fix for Google Nest Mini (Gen 2) that will not connect to Wi-Fi - Factory Reset

The factory reset is under the mini where you plug in the charger. But I've done this about 3, 4 times and it still won't connect to my wifi

This is a design flaw. They should not be this hard to set back up or reconnect.

But what if it keeps losing the wifi as mine has this problem. After reset it does its work but after 12 or so hours it looses its internet connection. If tried several wifis

Superb tip. I struggled for a long time to understand where to press for resetting. The minimalist design is very misleading on this device.

Thank’s for sharing this, i knew i had to do a factory reset, but i couldn’t find the procedure anywhere. I just followed the steps and my Nest Mni came back to life. Incidentally my device starting acting up then not being able to re connect to wi-fi ever since i had a power failure a home last week. Since my router device has 2 wi-fi bands (2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz) it somehow tried to reconnect to the wrong one. Just saying in case it might be useful to someone else. Have a grat day every one.

Just disconect and conect the google home and it works just like I did, it will take some time to do this set up.

None of my Google Nests or any new ones wouldn't connect to my internet, and resetting would not work. All other devices, like phones and tablets, including Alexa, connect. What gives?
