Which States Allow Lane Splitting in the US

In Brazil if you’re stuck in traffic, you have to triple check before you even poke your car to a new lane because bikes will lane split every 2 mins lol.

It's done so often here in Texas, and the cops allow it. Assumed it was legal here, too 😅

There are enough distracted driver on the road. And Many (not all) motorcycle driver are just stupid. they don't follow any driving laws. So I'm against Lane Splitting. I do agree with Lane Filtering. For the same reason. Move the motorcycles to the front of the lane. They usually take off faster and more importantly, get the motorcycles out of the way of distracted driver the could rearend (and killing) a motorcyclist.

Just because they are on 2 wheels instead of 4 or more, they should not be given privilege. Anyone who sees all the videos posted on uTube sees bikers wildly abusing these laws.

It should be illegal in Every State. It's unsafe, recklessly endangers the rider and cars on the road. I can see filtering at stops but it easily gets abused.
