Many thanks for making this very useful resource! I’ve used it to prepare for my SKE exam this week.
Most of it is completely spot on - but I would query a couple of answers:
3(d) As well as write once, reuse within program, readability and efficient error detection - the mark scheme suggests:
* can reduce the need for global variables (1)
* can be put into libraries/reused in other programs/shared with others (1)
* can be used to hide complex code/functionality (1)
* can be written in low-level languages for special purpose/interact with hardware/optimise performance (1)

6(e) I don’t think the first step of this is to split in half (as this adds an extra unnecessary stage), but you should divide the list into pairs and sort, then merge pairs into quartets (and sort), then merge quartets to whole sorted list. (page 42)
