I am still baffled how he bought that 1 billion island from dole at just 300 million dollars. He knows his business so instead of wanting seasonal tourists, he made it into a luxury island catering the rich only like elon musk, tom cruise. Lanai is the least visited and that's exactly why rich people flock to it's luxury resorts for privacy and peaceful vacation. To be fair it was dole the original owner who in a way stole lanai and larry bought it but he shouldn't have kicked out so many indigenous people already living on that island. But i don't even think he cares tbh.
