Use the Advanced Filter Feature

Got a feeling for learning something advanced? Well maybe this might not be that advanced of an Excel topic, but it is a nifty capability called Advanced Filter. You might be familiar with the filtering capabilities with the drop down selections; but with Advanced Filtering you can have your filtered output separate from the source table and do a bunch of other types of filters. This video show not 1, not 2 but 8 examples! I've taken the instruction from a Microsoft knowledge article (for those of you that hate to read) and put it into a video. Enjoy!

[00:51] Multiple criteria, one column, any criteria true
[03:27] Multiple criteria, multiple columns, all criteria true
[05:20] Multiple criteria, multiple columns, any criteria true
[06:46] Multiple sets of criteria, one column in all sets
[09:31] Multiple sets of criteria, multiple columns in each set
[11:44] Wildcard criteria
[14:08] Text that matches a case-sensitive search (formula)
[17:53] A value in a column greater than the average of all values in that column (formula)
