Manny Teixeria has been working the door of the same Manhattan building for the last six decades. But on Thursday, his streak as the city’s longest-tenured doorman is finally coming to end, as he is set to retire. NBC New York’s Adam Harding reports.

He Made Good Tips. Doorman Don’t pay Much but With Tips especially the Christmas Tips You Get Loaded. I know He is Loaded With the Christmas Tips. He Bought A House or Two With his Christmas Tips. Now, He is ready to Retire.

No disrespect to his accomplishments but bcz of people like him who dont want to get a life and move on and retired and do his 20 years; younger generations cant get good job. Bcz door men like him been theire for over 30 yrs plus, it's ridiculous. Sometimes u just have to retired and enjoy life and let others have an opportunity to have a good job. That's why door man is the hardest job to get. People like him dont want to let go 🤦
