I wish the engineers would find me 8 truck drivers instead

I'm assuming fuel per acre is sweet my 81 year old combine operator would be impressed but the 65 year old trucker would be very busy, nice machine case .👍

As a farmer I can tell you farmers mentality in paying a good enough wage to compete for labor isn't there. But he'll drop hundreds of thousands of dollars or more on annual lease payments.

This tech really helps farmers lighten the load on their wallets.

That's nice, but my fields are not big enough for this size machine thanks anyway.

This is really nice to have on a large farm. It would not work on a small farm !! Just ti big !!

Back in the early 1980's was a IH mechanic on the 1480, 1460 axil flow combines. At that time they cost some where around 80 k and today they cost 10 times more.

Just more pressure to get the max out of it. Pressure pressure pressure. Anyone remember when farming was fun😮

And when, not if, it breaks down, you now have fifteen people doing nothing cuz it's the whole chain down instead of maybe just run a couple still really nice big machines and keep going when something goes wrong.

As if such numbers would matter on a real field. There is so much more to harvesting successfully then the performance of a brand new Combine under chocolate conditions

If you can afford a combine like that and the carts, tractors, trucks, and unload facilities, you don’t have labor problems.

I am very happy that Caseih built this beautiful machine and it is very impressive .If I was still farming now I would buy two Caseih 2388s or similar for about $40, 000.00 each and pay my workers more money to stick around, a lot less payments and stress.

How many bushels made it all the way through to the ground

Yeah that's all good, but you still have to have a technician to repair any problems you may have to get you going again, which will skim a nice piece of your profits. How do you balance that problem out ?

If you can afford one of these you can afford to pay a generous salary to staff

Capacity is nothing if you can't utilize it efficiently. The complaint is that you can't get the grain AWAY from these huge Combines to keep them moving. The weight and compaction has to be crazy. Another issue that costs money and time to combat or suffer yield losses. What is gained here? 5 fewer days in the field? That can sometimes be the difference but the money difference at the bottom line I'll wager is less. No thanks.

How many lost bushels are on the ground? We all know that is a big loss especially a week after harvest.

That's fast he is going to wait for the truck 🚛. That's awesome. 8000 is a lot.

Through put and sample. Sounds good what about the losses…….?
