I got the ue6000 back in November, and i can say its the best headphones Ive ever bought, perfect highs and mids, and crazy bass. only bad thing about them is the battery, i listen to music for about 6 hours a day everyday, and i have to replace the battery almost every 3 days.

For that, i'd recommend a pair of Ultrasone HFI-580. They are absolutely excellent for those purposes. Bear in mind the 300-hour break-in period though. They'd have to play music *constantly* for several weeks before they'd sound good. Once they reach their intended music playback, though, you'll never want to go back to anything lower-end. Enjoy the augmented music experience.

The M50 was built for studio monitoring, so it has a balanced sound.
The M-100 was built for mobile listening, so it has a boosted bass and lower-treble response.
It depends on what application you're listening to the headphones. For home listening I would recommend the M50; for mobile listening, the M-100.
The M-100 is also genre-specific. Midrange-focused music genres are not the M-100's strong point since they have too much bass.

M100 has 50 ml drivers Ann daisy chain features but u can find LPs for 109$ on amazon.

I'd stretch my budget up a notch and go with an AKG K550. That's just because my music taste in particular requires neutrality. What do you listen to?

I had to choose between sound and size... ended up getting the m-80 instead of lp2. I wish they were over the ears though

I bought these over the LP2 because it is basically the same sound except they refined the bass and added a an even longer long cable, they also fixed some issues with noise leakage . The extra bass is no problem for me cuz I am a bass head and listen to a lot of dubstep, house and generally electronic music btw Avicii use these and he is unsponsored unlike Beats which are sponsored by dr. Dre.

What's the difference between the LP and the M100? I'm really into dubstep, electronica, psystep chill step. Which one has more of a booming oumph with the bass?
