I love this so much. It makes me imagine 4 witch friends having a flashback when they were young. Then they escape the suburbs and city where they lived. They go on adventures in a huge forest, battling powerful monsters and enemies, then at the end of the day, partying at their campfire while singing "we talked we talked about it all night!", and laughing at how they almost died singing "we thought we thought we'd make it alive!", only to sleep and wake up and go on more crazy adventures!!!! Hahahaha this band really makes my imagination widen up :DDDD.

This was my first Good Kid song and still my favourite. It reminds me of so much, guess that’s what happens when it’s on repeat during the teenage years. It’s been with me through a lot and is still a main comfort song now, years later.
It’s been there through the loss of my Grandfather, through falling in love and then out of it, through times where I just wanted everything to cease, it was there and it still is. Now, heading into exams, it’s exactly what I need for a little pep in my step.

A friend introduced this song to me on our of our late night drives.
I said it was an anime opening for something like Percy Jackson.

When I listen to this song, from a filmmaker perspective.. this would make for one hell of an on foot chase scene. Take two best friends, one a typical "hyperactive, crazy kind of guy" and his "calm, logical" friend. The crazy friend gets them in trouble with some kind of authority figure (whether cops, security, etc) and this plays over the fast, and crazy camera shots.

All while "We thought we'd make it alive" plays over it.
