My goodness things have changed since I homeschooled my children. When my two girls used the Biology textbook the student notebooks didn’t exist. They did their assignments on plan paper and on the computer. The lab kit only had a few hard to find chemicals and some prepared slides. I am pleased to report that both girls graduated from college with high GPAs. My oldest daughter is now homeschooling her own children. I’m glad that mamas have more options now days but don’t worry if you can’t afford all of the bells and whistles. Your children will be fine.

You can wash and reuse the dissection supplies. We used our kit for both my teens. Just swap out the blades on the knife every few times it’s used. Other than that, it should work for all your kiddos

I used to teach the apologia biology at a co-op. You will only need to repurchase the specimens. The microscope, slides, dissection kit and trays can be reused.
