This video convinced me to give first blood a try. I wasn't too keen on their larger skirmish mode, but this combat seems more intimate and focused, much to my liking. Already have a few squads of dweghorn in line to be assembled and painted!

Awesome, I am hoping to get in to Conquest soon The models are great and it also means not having to Support GW.
So I am excited for this one, especially as the other version you're forced onto square regimental bases and that just doesn't feel like it's dynamic enough for a battlefield.

I love so much first, a version of conquest with individual minis movement and second, that with the scale of the miniatures, even if it is a skirmish version the game still feels big. Love it

That command deck is a nice and interesting solution to the boring, I go you go, style of play and as he eloquently put it, it does instill no plan surviving contact with the enemy. Chaos that can be planned for is what these games should be and I think it does a great job with that.
