What AD and DA converters mk2 is using?

The lack of a power switch was the main reason why I sent the iD14 MK II back. Once you have your setup on the table, you don't want to be constantly moving the audio interface and pulling out and plugging in the USB cable. Especially if you also do a lot in the dark and when the cables are pulled tight at the rear. That should actually be standard in this price segment.

I would also have liked a standard USB cable or adapter right away. Not everyone uses a Macbook with a USB-C port. So I first had to go to an electronics store. They didn't have any suitable cables. So I had to order another one online before I could finally plug in the interface.

Compared to the old and another new interface, the headphone output was very low with a USB-C -> USB 3.1 replacement cable. And the design would also have allowed a Midi In/Out.

This is not meant to be hate, but constructive criticism. Other than that, it's a great audio interface and I sent it back to myself with a very heavy heart. The ADAT connector is also very practical.

Great update! I use the first version of iD14 and am very pleased with it. I would like to know if there will be a firmware update for iD14, in which it will be possible to enable the loopback in the control panel? This feature is sorely lacking now!

I have the ID-14 and I love it. I see the MK II provides the option for reference speakers. That would be my only reason to upgrade. 2 headphone jacks is cool but I found a way around only having one. None of the free software was functional when I purchased my ID-14. Hope that's fixed now.

Yes, Why don't Audient produce a rack mount model? Actually it so good and class product which will stand along with Apollo & RME kind ones. It would be great if Audient come up with a Rack mount model. Waiting for that.

Low Latency is what I am looking for, dont care about monitoring through your software... thats just a pain. rather monitor through my daw. in the furture please consider designing interfaces that can do RTL as fast as possible.

Does this offer any upgrades to the mk1 other than the extra headphone and line outputs? (which are a great addition by the way!). Regardless, I have no complaints about my first gen unit.

fingers crossed that device drivers and support is there. my main fear choosing the device was actually drivers and not the functionality or metal build. for big firms like this it is so easy to go after many shiny features and aluminium case, but drivers that work is so much more important! there is nothing more frustrating than buggy software
