I lived just 30 miles from Hamilton until the end of August! I wish I still lived there, because you know I would be there at the retreat in a flash! OMG! The three of you are my favorites in YouTube land. I'm pouting because I can't be there to meet you!

I can’t make it to your retreat but I hope you do a few lives so I can be there in spirit. I went to a retreat a few months ago and we played a great game. Everyone started with a 10” square safety pinned to their shirt. There was a chosen word… ours was “fabric”… and the goal was to get other retreaters to say the word fabric. If you caught someone saying the word, you got their square to add to your shirt. At first it was very hard to get people to say the word but as the day went on and people started focusing on other things, your natural conversation could bring out the word. At the specified end time the winner was declared. The winner got a layer cake of the fabric line and everyone got to keep whatever squares we ended with.

Wow, what a fabulous opportunity to meet 3 fabulous YouTubers. Very sad I can't be there. It would be too big a trip for me at the moment health wise, and my granddaughter's birthday. Hopefully, this one will go really well, and you will book more in the future at a different time of the year. I watch all 3 of you, and I look like Di's old neighbour.
I'm so glad you decided to restart your slow sew, Tracy. What a fabulous idea of collecting fabrics from the thrift shops(charity shops in the UK). There are great tips on getting the construction right(something the builders of my redbrick house should watch as they didn't follow that rule."It has more waves than the Pacific Ocean.") The mix of colours will make it much more interesting. Emma Jones vintage sew is a great one to look at. Emma is doing her slow sew in hexagons with some centres embroidered along with Liberty Fabrics.

I’d love to go on this retreat. I watch the three of you and always look forward to watching all 3 of your tutorials. Sewing with the three of you on retreat AND going to Hamilton would be amazing. If I didn’t have the added cost of getting to the US I’d definitely come. If I win the lottery tonight I’m coming! I do love Tilda fabric the quality of it is great and it’s lovely to hand sew with. If you need to ease in fabric when hand sewing bend the edge of the piece with the extra fabric on the outside of the curve. It swallows up the extra and lays beautifully flat once sewn.
