Hi, my feeling is that there are different population, that are in lower-risk genetic, cause they have a neutral immunity to the virus, maybe a lower level of receptor to interact with the virus(like children), I look at India, Vietnam, and other southeast Asia countries the numbers are deficient, they have a massive amount of tourist(India and Thailand), but the level of new cases is not growing as fast as in other places. The weather can't be the only reasonable choice cause in the north of India the weather is quite cold.

ACE3 gene is on the X chromosome. Men have one copy and woman have two copies. It would be good to sequence mild responders vs. severe responders to see if 15% of the population has a ACE2 variant.

Diamond Princess population would be a good sample to use.
