I am not usually into “Disaster Movies” but this one was exceptional because it had so much raw emotion and feelings that I knew I would have in that situation.

I like how this scene stays with the protagonists throughout the whole disaster. Movies like these tend to showcase massive CGI presentations of the world being destroyed, but this one does a great job at making it feel more real with the micro scale approach.

this movie was far better than it had any right to be. I LOVE disaster films, good and bad. No matter how unlikely, ridiculous, or scientifically inaccurate. That being said, this is probably my favorite one of all time. Spending so much time on the character stories of this one family rather than sensationalizing the disaster itself really put this movie in a league of its own.

Scary movies don’t scare me enough to give me nightmares but this without a doubt gave me one. Especially goosebumps cause of how people have been fighting each other last year, so similar.

definitely a top 5 movie all time for me
incredibly emotional, human responses and decisions, and i love how the end of the world happened somewhere outside of where they were, so that the movie focused more on humans and governmental collapse rather than surviving the actual meteors, and even then the cgi looked great. i love doomsday movies and this is definitely my favorite one

People took this movie for granted. Def a top 5 if not 3 apocalyptic/disaster movie. The whole movie was incredible
