Just for some clarification, our magnetic field is weakening at least by 5% per decade. The Youtuber claimed it was 7% per century, this is based on the field strength weakening by 15% since 1860, however, this study was conducted in 2010. In 2000, the same study was conducted and found the field had only weakened by 10% since 1860. As you can see, from 2000 to 2010, the field strength was reduced a further 5%. For anyone curious about current data, know that NASA and ESA have not conducted any further studies since 2010, and something tells me they are worried to update us on the true values.

Could have mentioned that assuming the magnetic pole excursion continues at it's current rajectory and speed, the flip would happen, not in thousands of years, but in about 15-20 years.
And the movement, just like the CME's are not random like the video seemed to suggest but cyclical.

I may as well add my 2 cents here.
First, reversals have happened many times before (there is proof of this in rock crystals)
Second, the human race has somehow managed to survive these and adapt.
Third, the way some people act when their cell phones don't work or the power goes out...tells me they will be the first to "not make it."

My father told me ehen the poles flip, the earth will fall 90°F and most earths crust will move along a new equator. 2 mile high mud flows, 1000 mph wind, 6 day process. I wouldnt want to survive anyways

There's a lot of inaccurate and outdated information in this video. Some of it is correct, but it doesn't take into account the pace at which our magnetic field is collapsing. If the current trajectory continues, it will only take another 15-20 years, not thousands.
Also, these events are not random as suggested, they are cyclical.
For example, Carrington events happen roughly every 150 years. We are overdue another.
