I’m bringing a carry on suit case plus the little personal bag. However I want to bring another purse to use once I get to my destination. will they allow me to put the purse in my carry on suitcase?

I got told you have to take out everything in your carry on bag even like for example a T-Shirt and socks is this true??

What dark ages is this? Here in Helsinki you take NOTHING out of your bag and keep your shoes on. And most belts.

A good basis to work to but.... having flown through two international airports with no problem I was diverted to Manchester.
It is a great shame one can't avoid the security people at Manchester because what is deemed ok at Dammam and Amsterdam is NOT ok at Manchester, if you are a white christian returned serviceman with his family. Relish being torn apart whilst gazing upon mozzies who do NOT have to take their belts off, do NOT have to remove their shoes and DO NOT have to remove their laptops from their bags.
Meanwhile a Christian has his brand new, unopened perfumes, with receipt purchased airside at Dammam, confiscated.
Why? Because the perfumes and receipt were not in an unopened bag.
Heavy handed two tier security at it's best.
Absolutey no confidence in these security morons whatsoever. It's all a charade.
I want religious profiling at security and I want security staff trained to recognise who is the real threat and apprehended with the with the same vigour as they stop an ex - serviceman and his family.
Manchester airport security has fallen. Avoid like the friggin plague if at all possible.
