“I want my child to have Ukraine to go back to” is exactly what every parent thinks right now. Mothers that are forced to take their kids away from home and fathers that stay behind to fight for it. I have talked to some families that had to separate now, I never thought how hard it can be. Personally, I always traveled and leaved in many places. But having a home destroyed, taken from your children and your family turn apart, is totally different. It made me reevaluate and find a new apparition for many things. It’s always hurt for people to understand, when the war is not fought on your soil. But these people, are so compassionate and honorable. They are fighting for what’s right. I will pray for them to win and come back home safely.

This is the glimmer of hope that I've longed to see from humanity. It's beautiful and soul touching. I have the greatest respect for them. This is the fight not just for a country, but for life itself.

I applaud all 16, 000+ human beings who came to help regardless of what their politicians are deciding to do. You and the Ukrainian people are the bravest humans I know and deserve freedom and democratic voice. I am in tears hearing this.

Why nobody wanted to help when Syria, Afghan, Palestine, Yemen, etc were in similar or even disastrous situations?
