I’m not sad to see him like this . I’m happy to see a man still show the world why they love him . Phil Collins is an icon of music .

Got to love and respect Phil Collins. Doing what he loves and to have his son on the drums behind him, he must be proud.

Steve Perry and Phil Collins....the two voices that made the 1980's the best decade of American and British Invasion music. The 1980's...I was there.

Age is part of life. It is NOT heartbreaking to see him "like this." It would be heartbreaking to see him giving up, giving in, wasting away in a nursing home or sitting in front of his TV. He's doing what he likes. He's doing what he was meant to do! I think it's uplifting and encouraging to hopefully to us all, when we really think about it.

To get to be Phil Collins for a day would be epic. To get to be Phil Collins for 40+ years, simply mind-blowing.

He may not be able to drum and his movements are extremely limited, but he still loves what he does and sings straight from the heart. God Bless Phil Collins.

When I listen to Phil Collins, a sea of childhood memories come flooding through followed by an ocean of varied emotions. I can remember where I was when I heard some of his songs for the first time. I feel very privileged knowing that fate decided to have Phil Collins a part of my life. Thank you Sir. Much love & respect to you.

It breaks my heart to see him like this. He was a drummer like no other, and an amazingly energetic man in his prime, but above all a wonderful person.
I first met Phil when I was 14, back in 1971. He was immensely kind to me as an adoring Genesis fan, spending time to really talk with me. When I asked for his autograph, he said he would only do so if I signed the skin of his snare! He didn't have to do that, but it meant the world to me. I met him and the other members of Genesis again on successive gigs, and they were all really genuinely nice guys. After one gig, at a time when the U.K population was suffering greatly from the flu, and their road crew was down, my friend and I helped them load their gear into the trucks. When finished, Phil said "lads, you're not going until I've got you a round of drinks". True to his word we spent another hour with him and the others, he never let us spend a penny of our own money, and I was a quite inebriated but happy guy when we left to go home. Thanks to this man, I have a set of fond memories that I will never forget - bless you, Phil.

This man has a huge piece of my heart. I'm 50 years old and have been listening to his music since I was 11. I've seen him in concert 10 times, solo and with Genesis. I have certainly aged over the years and it is unrealistic to expect him to remain the same as he was in the 80's. For those of you who can't handle him getting older, there are plenty of old videos and concert footage for you to enjoy. For the rest of us who still admire and respect him for a lifetime of beautiful music, we can still sing along, a little slower and softer, with our dear old friend. I love you, Phil. Keep doing what you love.

57yrs old here and feels as if I've been listening to Phil a big chunk of my life. Soundtrack of my youth. Still have my original vinyls of Face Value and Duke bought when they first came out. Had the opportunity to see Phil and Genesis during the Abacab tour at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto back in the day. Drums or no drums...Phil's still an international music treasure. He's earned the right to sit and perform for a change. Hope you're on the road to recovery Phil.

Don't look at the outside: look at Phil's inside and hear the great entertainer he is. He is a superstar, a pop icon, a maestro. Don't see Phil as he is now, see Phil as he wants to be and listen to this great man.

It’s incredible how much music he has written, and how integral it has become to life. Ahe he is still going. I love it when people do not let age stop them. I look at my parents. They are healthy in their 80’s. My father still plays softball at 81! Phil isn’t quitting! Something special coming in 2021 or 2022!

I don’t see what his weakness is I see him singing very well and not ashamed of his appearance. You go!! Phil still sounds great!!
