It amazes me how people go on and on about In the Air Tonight which is a great song but few realise that this on the same par or In my opinion better. It is one of the best pop songs of all time. I love the electronic/synth' sound you have created on it Phil'. Reminds me of my undergraduate days when I discovered you and Genesis back in 1994 and would sit through an entire album on tape after buying it from the Virgin Media Store on Northumberland Street in Newcastle city-centre. This song evokes so many wonderful memories of my youth. It is a masterpiece. You can’t better this track. Very few artist can match it. Peace, love and respect from Bradford.

I used to play this some time ago.. Had a tough life. Was a heroin junky at one point in time. Mentally abused by women,
lost my sister to a horrible murder back in 2005, got abused again later by some psyho.. mentally. And recently my mom died of cancer in my arms.
Some people may not know but this song is about a person having been locked up in a mental institute, being subjected for years to 'methods of curing' back in those days. He is to be released and as he is looking forward ... All he wants is to 'remember' who and what he was .. desperately needing
a sense of belonging, a home.
