Masha Allah your ancestors were among the most notable Freedom Fighters of India. Since you mentioned the Fatawa Alamgiri, one of my ancestors was among the scholars in the court of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb Alamagir, who were charged with the compilation of the Fatawa Alamgiri. His name was Maulana Muhammad Shafi (Rahmatullah Aleihe). Our family came to India from Baghdad on the instruction of the Khalifa at the time to do dawa. They travelled through Iran, Ghazni and to Delhi. They were granted land by Royal Decree of Alamgir to settle in Amthua, Bihar.
