Ironically as my parents have gotten older, they’ve started taking turns watching chick flicks and action movies.

My dad will call out how ludicrous and unrealistic an action scene is to my mom’s delight, while my mom will crtiticize the overly mushy emotional scenes in chick flicks to make my dad laugh.

They are in their 60s now, and this is an integral part of their relationship. 😂
