The title is too much clickbait. Russia has a lot of regions that are much poorer than Buryatia. And if you look at the capital city of region, level of life there has became much higher in last couples of years

That was a really unusual and interesting video. I really liked your narrative style and it left me with a rather melancholy feeling. I look forward to seeing more of your travels. Thank you (and Daniil).

Russia struggles because corruption stops wealth from spreading. Allowing people to start their own businesses. Hiring people who then can go on and start their own business. Wealth concentration is a poison to economic growth. This was the experience of the South in the United States before the civil war. Obviously for much different reasons, but the effects are the same.

That fungus that grows on birch and is used in teas we know as chaga. It is very expensive in the US, typically selling for over $20 per pound(just over 2kg) in it's raw form. When processed down and prepared for use as tea it can bring in as much as $400 per pound.

It's strongly associated with a long list of health benefits from improving digestion to greater bloodflow(great in cold places). Where the birch grows you can usually also find spruce, and the tips of new growth in the spring also make a great tea for cold climates, and the two strong flavors compliment each other in my opinion.

Knowledge from the native tribes of Maine USA. The Miqmaq and Algonquin peoples.

Lake Baikal has been on my places-to-visit list before but it"d move way up if the current situation wasn't as it is.
Thanks for a really well made video, may you channel grow 🙂

What you do is great. You‘re showing the world the interesting and special things of boring and dramatic areas of Russia, all to the benefit of peaceful people one day having an easier time to meet again and make friendships. I hope this will come soon for all of us in a single free world. thank you very much for all your efforts and the great quality production.
I wish you long-term success in your forward minded life.

I wonder what these people think when living in poverty whilst their politicians live on luxury yachts and billion-dollar palaces on their own private resorts 😂😂

Those wood houses have survived 100 years or more..and probably will last another 100 years. Wood heated houses are cozy...if the stove well designed to heat water and bake bread too. It looks great place to live!

Thank you for this tour through landscapes of Russia. If we could only see the beauty in one another and celebrate the diversity, we would see we are more alike than our imagined differences. Thank you from USA. Offering many blessings upon you all. Look forward to more exploration of different sites. ❤❤❤💙🙏💙🙏💙

Very beautiful and interesting video. If I can make a little suggestion for more views 1- start with the beautiful landscapes for a few minutes, to catch the interest early. 2- maybe have for at least parts of the video a more relaxed voice, a bit lower. Except where you are happy and excited, the big changes from high pitched to low pitch you do with your voice are a little bit distracting because they are constant. It can be more relaxing if a slightly more uniformly low pitch is used in parts of the video. Dont overcorrect and make it too monotone though! And sorry for the advice I hope it does not come across as rude. You already have a beautiful voice, its just a little advice :)
