Texas slammed with severe weather and tornadoes

Severe weather is tearing through Texas with a reported five tornadoes and at least one confirmed touching down near Fort Stockton, Texas. Meanwhile, a tropical storm is slowly moving through the gulf. NBC News’ Sam Brock has the latest weather updates.

I was an hour away from that tornado. And my town was in tornado warning alert. Many towns are flooded, and there's no escape if it hits. Lubbock, lamesa, O'Donnell, and many more towns are flooded.

I got stuck in the flooded water because of the clay and mud on the road. So, to get out of it, I slowly revised the engine up and turned the wheel left and right to build traction and got out safe. Thought I was going to drown and lose my car. The only thing was that my AC no longer produces cold air. It's clogged up.

We're expecting to rain all this week.

Maybe I am wrong, but if there are 5 tornadoes, but only one confirmed as touched down, doesn't that mean there were 4 funnel clouds and 1 confirmed tornado?

That flood at O’Donnell Texas is already old news, I’d urge everyone not to complain, we have been so dry for so long, let’s be thankful and take what we can get. Just use Common sense, and take a detour if necessary.
