The baloon my son lost in Quebec in the last days of june 2019, was a number 4.

The top part broke and it became a lowercase h before it flew off.

I've been seeing this story become viral a dozen times since and always cracked laughing.

But stumbling upon a History Channel episode about it? No way man! I can't

I've probably seen hundreds of video of people seeing weird objects in the sky, and they ALL have one thing in common: None of them ever mention how the object eventually left their view.

I recall seeing almost the exact same thing floating in the sky when I was a kid about 55 years ago.
We lived in the middle of the Australian bush with the nearest town being about 80 km away.
So somehow, Given that these balloons didn't exist then, I'd tend to say that it wasn't one and neither is this.

i have the benefit of watching with a 24 inch 1080p computer monitor and i can clearly see that it's a deflating metallic party balloon blowing around in the breeze.

Little balloon. My cousin is a pilot and has seen these alot especially over stadiums and festivals. They can be even slightly blinding and if the wind is calm they seem to hover like a uap. Cool bit of debunking though still tons of film to sort through and more coming in weekly . Pay attention and hope this doesn't fall off the government radar amd take a back seat. Keep the momentum.

I saw this in a few dreams along with some flying saucers. My first dream was me at a testing ground that i was apparently invited to and they were testing the lasers on them and the next one started with some sort of object crashing from the sky followed by doomsday and many of these spaceships firing at each other along with military helicopters and fighter jets. This is a dream i've had twice with slight differences.

Definitely a mylar balloon. Didn't know for sure, but when they mentioned it, you do begin to see it. Mylar balloons are super reflective and with the bright sunset its giving the balloon that really bright red color.
