I'm nuts, huh? It's a 1983 Jaguar XJ6 Series 3, tucked away in a garage in 2005 in Newville, Pennsylvania. Will this be my British car fix or just a total nightmare? Either way, the adventure is fun and I will make a decision quickly if I purchase it, to either part it out or go into a restore.

Very cool, did you get the car running? I own a 86 XJ6 with the 4.2 liter that I bought in Oct. of 2019. Mine was a non running 1 owner car with 25, 531 original miles on it. It sat for about 10 years in a unheated garage, it was dirty but in nice shape with minimal rust and original paint, the interior was in great shape. I had it towed home and had it running about a month later. It needed a new fuel pump to get it running. The original tires were still on the car, that I replaced and a bunch of misc. items. Good luck with yours, they are nice smooth riding cars.

I'm getting a 1984 jag xj6 but no engine/tans, would a 1989 jag xj6 with engine trans make a good parts car.
