Retro fitting all the components from a 2000 Jaguar XJR into a 1966 "S" Type Jaguar. Including all the interior suspension brakes engine and all the auxiliary.
I have an 02 XJ Sport and the 4.0 is an awesome engine. Fantastic idea!

This is absolutely brilliant! I can't wait to go through the progression videos to see this finished! I will never understand all the people who stand on the sideline criticizing those who modify cars and actually create something. Their logic doesn't make sense. It's your car not theirs! If they want to complain about every old car that isn't being used according to what they think, why don't they go out, spend their own money and buy all of them to "save them"?! I hope this comment cancels out a few of the detractors for you.

magnificent and superb! Totally respecting the Jaguar ethos and re-hatching a classic as an even more modern classic...takes a certain bold attitude to reverse engineering though! Great stuff.

mate, the commitment you had to make was awesome . Always been a Jag man(used to own an S Type back in '75) when I lived in the UK, but now in OZ prefer the FPV Ford and HSV Holden V8's

can't fathom the comments about ruining the jags, not like your cutting up 250gto's, i think its awesome!

Hello Mick, Great project, unfortunately this video is 'no longer available'.
Is there any chance you would be able to reload/upload it again.
Thanks either way..

What was wrong with the old car that seams like a waste of a good late model Jag. Your 1966 S type will look good when its finished but I still am at a lose why you wrecked such a god car maybe I missed some thing ?

I admire your technical skill to do what you did in electrical, welding electrical and so forth. But the cost of a Jaguar is very high. Why waste a perfectly good modern car to put the internals into 1966 car?? I mean you could have put an inexpensive Chevy V8 into the old car for the power level you were seeking. I don't understand what motivated such an expensive project. Seems like a waste of money: money to burn.
