Shouldn't A Boyfriend Talk To You Everyday

I think I’m needy cause I would want to talk to my bf everyday once or twice a day . More so at night before going to bed.

You have to have your own thing going on. I understand those who are in long distance relationships talking on the phone everyday. However, those who are close by should be seeing each other at least 1 to 2 times a week. And then touch base those other days. Maintaining a healthy balance keeps things fresh and prevents you from freaking out because something comes up.

There's something about talking to your loved one or someone that you're dating what does when you go to sleep. even if its just to see how they day went or to just say goodnight. Is that wrong?

My boyfriend is in Canada and I'm in the Philippines. He's been distant and said he has problems and I said okay. I tried to be there but seems like he doesn't want me to since he's ignoring me. This communication is so frustrating. I want to be talking to my partner every single day. He is a type of a person who is always busy and I happen not to understand that statement. I tend to be checking on him everyday but he can spend a week without talking to me. I know people are different in terms of how they want to be treated and sometimes it feels not good asking such questions. It is so frustrating trying to reach out to someone but they act busy. Does this me wanting to talk to him every day normal? Does it not portray a needy girl? Can someone spend a week not talking to you and yet claim loving you? Do men like needy women? I personally like not talking to my girl every day, she'll send me like a good night handsome with a kissy face and stuff every day, but I don't talk to her every day because I like it because it makes her miss you even more because she's wondering about you, and that's just going to make her chase like a dog. I don't see her throughout the weekdays because of my sports, school, work so it really builds anticipation. It works well for me and my girl, but I get what you're saying on the time limit, personally I'll go a day without talking to her before I reach out and call her.

My girlfriend who I really love calls me everyday and at first it was fine, until it would be calling me just for the sake of calling and I get it, she lives with just her mom, but I want her to stop calling me every day just for the sake of it, we barely even talk on these calls, she recently got something I have wanted for a while and she keeps talking about it, I will try and get her to maybe ask before calling
