Our mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people to live a life that Blesses God, in accordance with His word. As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

I think it’s often due to not being able to find male pastors who are actually living by basic morals. I experienced that, searching for a church with a moral, Bible teaching pastor and finally found one, but she was a woman. I was revolutionized by the teaching. It was truly wonderful. The men are not always being usurped. Sometimes someone just literally needs to step up.

I think the issue is bc men (pastors/ leaders/ elders) really aren’t living up to the biblical description of how they are suppose to lead. They just want the title without the accurate biblical responsibility. Who wants to be lead by someone who doesn’t have the Godly character development to do so?

Nope! As much as I support women's rights and dignity- Gods word is very clear on this. Only men are qualified for the positions of Priesthood/ Pastoring. This doesnt mean we cannot teach other women and children - nor does it mean we cannot preach the Gospel to men outside the Church.

The real issue is that people read verses without understanding the context or the history behind it. When Paul wrote that letter to Timothy, (1Tim. 2:12) he said I, not God. It wasn't a direct command from God. It was Paul's personal preference. There are plenty of verses where he makes it perfectly clear that what he is saying is straight from God. Also, Paul gave Timothy leadership over the church. The Greeks in this country worshipped the Greek gods and goddesses. Many of the prophets leading this worship and teaching were women. When the people learned about the gospel and came to Christ, some people mixed the gospel with their beliefs about the false gods. Because women did a lot of teaching about the false gods, Paul didn't want them preaching and confusing the people. What's more is that at the time, women were viewed as second class citizens, especially among the Jews. Remember Paul was originally a Pharisee, so it's not surprising that he would still hold on to certain traditions from the time in his life. There are 7 layers of understanding when it comes to the Bible. Too many people look at the 1st layer and call it a day. You need to study not only the verses but the context, the history, and the other books that are connected to them. It would be wise for people to study Acts prior to studying Paul's letters. It gives so much context to his letters.

I would love for you to have someone on from a traditional Black church that has embraced women in the leadership. This is one area where there is a marked difference between Black churches and non-Black churches and exploring the historical and sociological reasons for the difference would be interesting.

To be clear when we speak about pastors or priest we are speaking about a person who has been "qualified" by training and ordination to have authority over the doctrine, teaching and enforcement of scripture being taught in a congregation. Reading the Bible it's clear that women can serve in many capacities and even teach under the authority of a male pastor or priest. Where the line is that as to scripture just as God has structured the responsibilities in a family, the husband is to be the head of the household being overall responsible and accountable in what happens under his authority. In the same manner God has structured the church where the overall authority and responsibility in a congregation must be under the authority men. I know many people struggle with this, yet a true follower of Christ must simply obey and ask God to work in their hearts to give them understanding and humility to submit to Scripture.

"And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my Male servants and Female servants in those days I will pour out my spirit, and they shall prophesy..." -Acts 2: 17-18.

There’s great theologians totally dedicated to God who have come to the genuine conclusions of both egalitarianism as well as complementarianism, as well as plenty people doing it for culture on both sides. Someday, we’ll have the chance to ask God what He meant, but until then I’ll continue to serve with and under the female leaders and female pastors who have taught me so much and are completely dedicated to serving God in the way that He has called them to.
But it’s not just as simple as “the Bible is quite clear on this”, because it’s a fight of a few verses against the greater narrative of scripture.

The fact that this is so confusing when God's word is so clear only shows the pride, self righteousness, lack of respect for God's word and lack of dying to self, and basically many are just out of order. All women who are or who believe in women pastors, and all men who believe and allow it, they are out of order.
Let God be true and every man a liar.

1 Timothy 2:11Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.

Serious question. How can we decern between Paul’s opinion and a true command?

I’d like to see him talk to someone who disagrees with him instead of someone who thinks exactly like he does

How convenient. When we practice exactly what the Bible instructs us to do….” It’s extremist” We have to follow what we pick and choose even the the Bible speaks against it And we will be considered not extremist. Smh We are not God, we should follow what the Bible says. Picking and choosing is a slippery slope. What is our foundation then?? . It doesn’t matter what we “think”

I’m complimentarian, I’m a woman campus missionary, I teach, lead, guide, pray and am sought after for wisdom or various needs. I will never be a head pastor of a church, but as we have many examples in scripture, I am walking in my gift as a teacher. To be complementarian does not necessitate that women must be silent, that scripture needs good exegesis, it never meant women shouldn’t speak in church, read the whole text in context. I am not egalitarian. I think there’s biblical balance needed for a lot of peoples ideations.

I'm in Thailand (99% non Christian) working with the local church planters (all women). In the services, it's almost all women (pastor included) and very few men. It was so noticeable I asked the woman pastor where are all the Christian men? She said she didn't know but they deeply desired to see men saved and step into Gods calling. She agreed it was best for man to be the pastor. Most of the other churches I've seen also have women as the head pastors.

I think it is very clear that men should be the pastors but is this the basics for working together for the furtherance of the gospel? With me, no.

Context is everything. Paul was writing to a Jewish audience and this is still a Jewish custom. The majority of Paul's writing toward the women he was in ministry with was to ensure that the brethren would receive them in the Holy Spirit given spiritual authority that they walked in. Hermeneutics and pluralistic interpretation has ruined this argument, and in our Western male-authoritave culture is often used to justify the conclusions. Inductive and expositional study and teaching is the only thing that can clear up the misunderstanding and misinterpretations.

I am so thankful for my woman pastor and my woman bishop, whom are both highly educated and talented women. Without them, my church wouldn’t exist. They are my ideal situation, with all due respect sirs!

The Bible is clear: women are called to lead based on gifts, not based on gender. Ruslan, you gotta have solid evangelical egalitarians on the show to give voice to them as well.

How about the truth of the matter is that people aren't fasting and praying on the situation. This goes back to "religion" (traditions of man) vs The Wisdom of God.
