I have just replaced my Orbit timer with Easy Dial after my old timer got busted during thunderstorm. I reconnected the wires to the Easy Dial exactly where it was with the old timer. But, when I tested it manually, it doesn't work. What could be the problem? Thank you.

Alright so I have this same timer. The other day I had to turn it off so I can fix some irrigation line that we’re broken. Got them all fixed up and when I turned it on noticed that evening that no water was coming out on any of the drippers. I checked the time and it was reading that it was currently “dispensing” water yet nothing was coming out. I reset the timer but no luck. Reset it a second time but got no results.

I have quite an old Orbit controller. When I put it on Auto, a rain drop appears on the left with “OFF PWR” inside. Can someone please assist. The internal batteries are still good, so initially I suspected a faulty transformer, but the batteries should kick in. The “OFF PWR” doesn’t want to disappear. Unless the internal batteries only supply power to the controller and not the valves? In which case it could still be the transformer?

Lame video. For someone who has never used one of these timers, It would be very helpful to put a bit more effort into explaining each step involved. Instead, I have to watch your fingers to see what buttons you are pressing and re-play several times. And that's about it.

You cannot run this timer manually on later versions. There is no option. Junk.

I wish you could make a video with someone who can explain HOW they are getting this system to actually work. This guy in this video is pressing these buttons Without explanation FASTER than a person can even Think! I still had to go out and experiment and tinker around with this STUPID system to get it to work! I found that you have to Press the Manual button, then let go of it and then press the Right arrow button to advance the station setting by 1 station. And then press Manual again, and then let it go, and then press the Right arrow button again, to advance the station to the next one. And so on. You can't just press the Manual button and then press the Right arrow button to the station that you want, you have to repeatedly press the Manual button and then let it go and then pres the manual button and then let it go OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again to get to the station that you want! This STUPID system is so confusing, I'll NEVER by another one

...oh, and yes, when you watch this video and then try to apply it in manual mode and then you have geysers flying out of the yard you just moved into... Then you turn it to OFF, OFF, OFF...and nothing happens..and now you are looking for the water shutoff, WTF. Not a good video.

Useless! Give one way to program the thing. You give dozens of options and you totally fail to communicate, Oh, I see you are an Orbit staff person. That explains it all. I have a battery 3 zone timer/controller and I could only understand a response from your Customer Support man that it won't cycle to station 2 and 3 unless you do something which he was incapable of explaining. You people need to explain things simply! Incidently, the 1-800 number immediately cuts off when you click the response for non-commercial help if you are a consumer. Maybe they had too many help requests because they can't make a simple product that works with simple easy explanatory instructions! I'm switching to RainBird!
