Sky's defence and security analyst Professor Michael Clarke explores the significance of Vladimir Putin's drive across a key bridge linking Crimea to Russia.

Professor Clarke says that while the road bridge has reopened, there is no sign the rail bridge running parallel is fully in operation again.

Nothing like showing your countries power, by going over a once destroyed bridge while driving in a German car.

Ukraine attacking Russian airbases is NOT an escalation.... it's simply Ukraine defending itself. Slava Ukraine.

It’s not a major escalation…. It’s called self defence

I’m sorry, how is this a major escalation? Preventively striking on airbases from which cruise missiles are launched on civilians is an escalation?

In no meaningful way this is an escalation. Deliberately destroying civilian infrastructure all over a country is escalation.
Hitting military targets used to attack civilian infrastructure? I can't see how this could possibly be considered escalation. It's legitimate self-defence.

Dr Michael Clarke really need a long session for himself, an analyst, commentator and educator that deserve our attention

So what the Professor is saying is that Ukraine does not need a massive offensive in the South. Just cut-off Crimea's three supply routes (bridges), trap Russian forces within and North of Crimea without supplies (and during the Winter) and Russia would simply see the Region as a liability.

Zelensky is brave and compassionate. He goes to the frontlines to see the troops.
Putin is cowardly and uncaring, he goes to see his bridge.

As if Putin would drive a car over the Kerch bridge. It was absolutely a body double.. I mean, look at the size of the driver vs passenger.
