Do you have an obligation to tell Police when you are pulled over for a basic traffic stop that you have a firearm on your person or in the car?

Great video. I live in Longwood FL, I was told in my CWP class by an officer who visited during the class that it is advised but not required to, give the officer both your driver's license and concealed weapons permit. 
A close friend of mine did this in Orlando with a police officer who was just running a checkpoint for DL's, insurance and registration. The officer took both looked at the CWP and gave it back to her and said, "I don't need this." She was told everything was in order and allowed to proceed to her destination.

I never knew this. I knew Florida was No Duty to Inform, but I thought by law you have to tell them only if they ask.
