Sony a7IV vs Sony a7cII | Which Do You Choose?

I had the A7iv and never had more than 1 SD card in it and the joystick isn’t a dealbreaker. So I got the a7cii and the Ai features are amazing!

CII because it’s awesome. It’s so small. I love that. It blows my mind that it’s a full frame camera.

I have the A7iv and I picked it bc I’d rather have the ergonomics of a larger grip, and more comfortable viewfinder, and the three full-sized programmable knobs.

it just preferences. Mainly i go with compact and video therefor i stick with the a7c

I used both and the a7c ii offers me more while being less than its big brother, and that's something I love about it. I has everything I want in a smaller forn factor, and some things more! I lacks the things I don't need on the a7iv, and settles for lesser features I can more than live with.

A7CII is a killing machine for A7IV, but thats a good segments preparation for the next A7. Excellent plans Sony, take all of my money please :v

Choosing is based solely on your objective..as for me; the AI chip is clutch, 33MP sensor will produce better in low light & perfect for street photography too!

yeah I blinded by the compactness, that’s what attracted me to it..wasn’t a thinking about the size of a lens..now going to lose a whole lot of money selling it 😫😫

I upgrade from the a7riii to the a7cii .... i don't undertand people saying, if you do just still and not video, the bust purchase will be the a7r5 ... i do still but 61 mpx are too much and in low light condition that not the best, 33mpx are good and enough with a cropfactor of 14 mpx, that enough for still, even for printing some photos. The true 2 cons for me in my opinion are, the mechanical shutter 4000s more would be better, but that's not dramatical, and the 1 slot sd card... may be...

I really wanted to buy the a7iv before I heard about the a7cii. Now I cant decide 😢 the software is better on the a7cii but I like the a7iv body more because of all the extras like better viewfinder, more buttons and 2 sdcard slots. But idk which to pick, can someone help me?

I ha recently had a A7rii and because I travel versions countries, shoot when in running, climbing volcanoes, etc… I am moving towards the A7c, or possibly the A7cr. My phone is good for when I’m running races. I need more detail for expeditions.

What does partial mechanical shutter mean? Would it have banding when shooting photos like fully electronic shutter too?
