IDF - Merkava's Trophy Active Protection System will be installed on the Abrams tank

What you are showing is an system that detects laser from laser guided missiles and alerts the crew. The tank you are filming is an old Mk. 4 and it does not have the trophy APS. The trophy APS does not have a lense or a camera, it uses radar to locate missiles.

The thing that you showed what looks like a sensor of some sort is Not Rafael Trophy APS. Maybe this sensor like thing helps identify threats but Trophy also has small detection radars on all four sides and two launcher systems on the turret one on each side. None of them are shown in your video.
