I am remodeling my house! I am so excited to get this started, and take you guys along in the process. I've learned a lot from my first go-around renovating in Palm Springs, and want to take that to be smarter here in Seattle. In this first episode I am beginning the planning phase: sourcing materials, figuring out budget, layout, and timeline.

Don't forget to consider the softness of marble, it can stain really easily so quartz is a great option

Luxury vinyl is also a good option especially with pets. Durable and easy to clean. It’s not your grandmothers vinyl. It’s beautiful and come a long way. Your place is going to look even more fabulous than it already does!

I would also find a fridge that doesnt stick out so much or at least cover the exposed side with metal. There are some peel and stick options that look really good. I know many people may not care but I notice things like that and I think it does make a difference.

We bought a townhouse and ours came with engineered hardwood and WE LOVE IT! The best flooring we have had so far.
