Hi,
Maybe I'm wrong but the title was misleading.
I was looking for how to change the center of rotation of the cloud, and this tutorial shows how to change the center of rotation of the viewpoint.
What I am looking for is how to change the center in the Edit > Translate/Rotate tool

Is there is any way to make rotation fixed on Z axis only and rotate it with a precision of say 18 degrees. I have 20 point clouds for a scanner that are captured during scanner rotating 20 degree 18 times creating to make a full 360 degree scan. It stops 20 times for 3 seconds for a lidar to make a full coverage. However my Lidar does not have any GNSS/IMU so all point cloud when loaded into CloudCompare will simply sit in one direction covering each other. If I can rotate the second 18 degrees to the first, then 3rd 18 degrees to the second etc I should be able to get each into a right orientation and merge with manually picked up points.
